Popcaan Drops “Traumatized” Talks About Unruly Shagel’s Death


We can’t deny that Popcaan have been grinding non stop as he keeps on releasing ton of music over the past few months. It possible that he’s been releasing new music every week, sometimes dropping even two new tracks in seven days. December last year, the artist mentioned that he’d be signing with Drake’s OVO label officially after being a close affiliate for years. As he prepares for what we believe will be his OVO debut, he comes through with his latest track, “Traumatized.”

Popcaan opens up on the death of his friend Unruly Shagel who was killed at the dancehall artist’s home. Caan reviewed the song on Instagram recently, writing, “It’s been 6 months and still feel like yesterday @unruly_shagelshag miss you bro keep watching over us from above.. RIP bro unruly fi life a swear blood.” Popcaan comes through with a powerful track where he reflects on the death of his friend over production from Notnice Records and Unruly Records.
